Sarah Cotter Craig

Sarah Cotter Craig is a landscape manager and horticulturalist who specialises in the conservation of historic landscapes. She has worked on numerous Conservation Management Plans for many of the country's finest historic landscapes:  Wrest Park, Hardwick Hall, Hagley Hall, Clumber Park, Farnborough Hall, Ditchley Park, Nymans, Mottisfont Abbey, to name just a few. She prepared a 20 year Landscape Management and Maintenance Plan for the gardens at Wrest Park, which English Heritage used to support their successful £1.4million HLF application to restore the gardens.

She recently project managed the restoration of the gardens at Eltham Palace for English Heritage.

Sarah's other passion is garden plants.  She works closely with Max on many of our garden design projects:  garden design, planting design and long term management and maintenance.

Sarah has recently opened her own Cutting Garden specialising in growing the more unusual annuals and cottage garden favourites. She is currently completing a MA in the Conservation of Historic Gardens and Cultural Landscapes at Bath University.
